Disc Directory – ‘Most Recommended Company’ Award
In March 2008 SBA Financial received an unexpected surprise from the Disc Directory. SBA had ranked number one from over 10,000 companies in Portsmouth & Southampton as the most recommended business. The award was received with great delight by all the staff at SBA and a table of the top 50 companies in Portsmouth & Southampton was place by the Disc Directory in several publications including The Portsmouth News & The Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce Magazine.
Steve Blofield, Managing Director (Advising Director) of SBA Financial, commented “It was such a surprise and honour to be voted the number one company in Portsmouth & Southampton, this award means so much to us because it has been voted for by our clients and customers, who are so happy with our service, that they have taken the time to leave feedback about us on the Disc Directory site”.
Investor in People
SBA are proud to announce that in September 2007 they were recognised with the prestigious Investor in People Award.
This award is primarily presented to larger companies, so it is a fabulous achievement, for a small, family-run business to received this award. The Investor in People Award recognises companies that invest time and effort into developing the best and most efficient staff in their particular industry, so ultimately clients and customers will receive the best service from everyone within that organisation.
SBA has been recognised for this by developing dedicated Client Business Managers, who ensure that SBA clients and customers are looked after to the highest of standards. Client Business Managers receive in-depth training about the industry of Financial Services, as well as Customer Service, both inside the company and through attending various seminars and workshops around the UK.
The Portsmouth News ‘We Can Do it’ Award for Best Business 2007
In December 2007 SBA were awarded the ‘We Can Do It Award’ for Best Business by The Portsmouth Evening News. The nomination for this award came from a Client of SBA, who worked for Hampshire Victim & Witness Support, which SBA supported and raised £1000 for at their Charity Race Night. The award recognises companies in the local community, who have taken the time out of their day-to-day business, to raised money for charities in our community.
SBA have raised thousands for local charities over the last 5 years and this is what led them to win 1st place against Waitrose and the Co-Op.
